Sorting Fun:)

One of the benefits of having a teacher for a mom is an early start to learning and instruction. With Momma Mysea's guidance, Annie has already mastered the sorting game (okay, she put the red key on the orange surface, but they're in the same color family). She may not be a child prodigy, but Daddy insists: she's wicked smaht!

Reading with Grandma Susie?!

Grandma Susie isn't in the picture reading to Annie, but she's on the phone. The book? The Jesus Storybook Bible--one of Annie's faves. Without family nearby (boo-hoo), we've had to get creative. So story time with Grandma has become a weekly occurrence (every Sunday evening before tubby), offering us a means to stay at least somewhat connected. We all, Annie included, look forward to when Grandma Susie and Grandma Pauli can read stories to Baby Annie at a much closer distance--holding her on their lap! God willing it won't be too much longer...

Jellystone Snuggles

Auntie Kristin and Annie got a chance to snuggle on a cool evening at the Jellystone volleyball courts. Given the brisk temp, Annie sported her boot-cut blue jeans and pink Puma's...stylin'.

Set to Swim...

Mommy and Annie were all set--bucket hats on their heads, sunblock on their skin--ready to brave the old-school, ultra-chlorinated swimming pool at Jellystone.

Let's Go Hiking!

Baby Annie and Daddy went hiking in Jellystone National Park. Annie insisted we go looking for picnic baskets to feed Yogi. 'Hey Boo Boo!'

Annie-squared!

Little Annie got to see and snuggle her mentor and friend, grown-up Annie, when Mommy and Daddy returned to Minnesota for a short summer vacation. Too cute!
