Ezra (now almost 12 weeks old) has started to take some of his daytime naps in his crib, in his own room (big boy!). He still sleeps in a bassinet in our bedroom at night, and loves to snuggle mommy in the big bed in the morning while we wait for big sis to wake up.
This morning when I laid him down in his crib for a nap he didn't want his paci-- something new to our family, since Annie never turned that thing down! Instead, he just quietly looked around the room with his big beautiful eyes... all snug in his swaddle wrap, checking out his surroundings. He did that for about 15 minutes, and then softly fell asleep. He looked so darling in his big crib-- I had to snap a picture of him!
When Ezra woke up from his nap I put him on the floor for tummy time. He enjoys looking at pictures in books while hanging out on his tummy, but that never lasts too long. He used to fuss after a couple of minutes, letting me know he was ready to be flipped to his back. He doesn't have to do that anymore, because he now can roll over! He rolled over the first time a couple of weeks ago, and today he rolled over to both the left and right. Good boy!
