Ever since Annie saw Sid (from 'Sid the Science Kid') get measured on a wall, she has been asking and pretending to be measured and marked. The other morning Ben and I were taking in the sweetness of our freshly-awake little girl when we both realized that she looked taller. It was as if she had grown overnight. So, we decided to start the official charting of her height. She was super pumped to stand with her back to the wall-- it took a minute or two for her to get the 'heels back to the wall' part, but, after she was all straight we measured and marked... AND she did grow! She is just over the three foot mark on her adorable growth chart (a gift from Mama Susie). Every once in a while I check her measurements against the general sizing tables for toddler clothes and her height of 3 feet tall puts her in size 3T (3 yr. old toddler)--she still only weighs 26 pounds though (on a good day) so her weight puts her in the 12-18 month size range. This makes for a bit of a challenge when it comes to buying/wearing clothing. Luckily, leggings are in-style and she loves them because that's about all she is fitting in for bottoms. And all those pants from last year are looking great as capris!
